Who can apply as a CBSE Private Candidate [2025]
If you fall under this category, you are qualified to fill out the form:-
. Compartment Students (Class 10 or 12) who have failed in one or more subjects in previous board exams.
. Improvement Seekers who are past but not happy with their marks? Reappear for 1 or more subjects.
Essential Repeat/Fail- They didn’t pass in a past attempt and want another shot.
Absent Students who have missed the exam due to genuine reasons.
Passed Out but Need a Subject: One who wants to add a subject for college/job purposes? If this is the case, you can reappear.

The form-filling process usually starts around October-November on the CBSE official website: cbse.gov.in.
